Interested in Participating in Focus Groups?

Questions? We have answers...

What is a focus group? What do I have to do? A focus group is a group of people brought together to talk about a specific topic through a guided discussion. Your input is extremely valuable for businesses. Your only job is to respond to each discussion point with honesty and join the conversation by voicing your thoughts, opinions and ideas.

How much will I get paid to participate? The amount you get paid (called an honorarium) depends on the study, and can be as high as $100. In cases where a specific target audience is needed for the research, higher honorariums may be awarded. Gift cards to companies such as Amazon are also common and the reward for your participation is always made clear before you commit.

How much of a time commitment is this going to be? Focus groups usually last 1.5 to 2 hours.

Do I have to know a lot about the topic being discussed? Some studies target people with knowledge in a specific industry. But don’t worry, for studies such as these, only those who qualify for the topic will be recruited.
